We are a private company known as Resources for Africa Investment Conferences (Pty) Limited (referred to here as “R4A”), having registration number 2012/027474/07 duly incorporated with limited liability in terms of the laws of South Africa.

We conduct the business of arranging, administering and producing conferences and/or workshops primarily in the mining or resources sector throughout Southern Africa.

 

Use of Site

We are the exclusive owners of this site.

The site is for your benefit, information and convenience. It is intended for your lawful and legitimate utilisation. It is not intended to be unlawfully copied nor to constitute any platform or means for unlawful, fraudulent or criminal activity.

 

Disclaimer

Your election to visit our site and utilise the facilities available on the site from time to time is done entirely within your discretion and at your risk.

We do not warrant the accuracy of the content or material contained on the site. We endeavour at all times to make sure the content and material on the site is correct and accurate but cannot guarantee same.

Accordingly, we will not be held liable for any harm, prejudice or damage you may suffer or claim to suffer arising directly or indirectly from your utilisation and reliance upon the site.

We reserve the right to amend, change or alter the site and its content entirely within our discretion and at such times as we deem appropriate.

COVID-19 Policy

In line with Government’s relaxation of Covid regulations, we no longer require attendees to demonstrate their vaccination status as a requirement for attending our events.  However, should the Government re-impose rules and restrictions in future, we’ll have no choice but to follow suit, which may involve a vaccination requirement or other restrictions.. 

 

Delegate Payments

Users of the site who wish to attend any of our conferences or workshops may utilize the payment facilities to make payment to ourselves subject to these terms and conditions.

Users and/or delegates wishing to effect payment by utilizing our site facilities acknowledge that they are familiar with our general terms and conditions in respect of the particular conference, function or workshop for which such delegate intends paying.

All transactions will be processed in South African Rands (ZAR).

Although our prices may vary from time to time, we will endeavour to advise you timeously of any increase or decrease in such pricing. We do however reserve the right to change our pricing at any time.

 

Credit Card

Mastercard Visa

We accept MasterCard and Visa credit cards. If you do not have a credit card please utilise one of the other payment options, or simply log off and return to the site at a later time to complete your order. All of your order details will be saved online under in the Your Account section available for use whenever you’re ready! Sorry for the inconvenience.

 

EFT (Electronic Fund Transfer)

One of the most widely used ways of sending money online. Once you have added enough items to your shopping cart, proceed to “Checkout” and follow the order processing instructions. Select the option to pay via EFT. You will then have to load Resources 4 Africa as a beneficiary on your internet banking and use the unique order number in the reference line for your payment.

 

Direct Deposit

You may make payment through a direct deposit. It’s exactly the same as doing an EFT payment, except you’ll have to go into your bank and physically make your direct deposit there. Please email through your deposit slip to us on registrations@resources4africa.com to ensure your payment is confirmed and order confirmed as quickly as possible.

Refunds Policy

Resources for Africa is not obliged to refund the sum, or any portion thereof, paid by you. We will consider a partial refund in extenuating circumstances submitted in writing to info@resources4africa.com. The question as to whether a partial refund is given or not will be decided upon by Resources for Africa entirely within our own unfettered discretion.

Law

The conditions will be exclusively governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of South Africa whose courts will have exclusive jurisdiction in any dispute, save that we have the right, at our sole discretion, to commence and pursue proceedings in alternative jurisdictions.

I understand that all the designs and trademarks are registered to Resources 4 Africa and hereby accept the terms and conditions. I undertake not to copy/duplicate the trademarks and designs directly or indirectly in anyway and understand the legal implications thereof. Should I be found to be in violation of this agreement I understand that I will be held liable for all legal costs incurred by Resources 4 Africa for any civil action or any legal action deemed necessary against me
